Sharpi 240/1000 coarse and fine sharpening stone

Water Sharpening stone of combined grit 240/1000. Manufactured in accordance with Japanese standard JIS R6001, it offers high durability and sharpening efficiency. The 240 grit is designed to restore and repair damaged edges and create new sharpness on blunt edges. Its coarse grit makes it particularly suitable for the first stage of sharpening. Fine grit 1000 is ideal as a next stage after 240 grit or as a first stage for sharpening slightly dull knives.

The sharpening stone can be used on kitchen knives, scissors, pocket knives, garden tools, axes, machetes, chisels and many other steel tools. Made of AI203 aluminium oxide, which makes sharpening very efficient and ensures a low stone wear. Including rubber anti-slip base for stable and safe sharpening.

How to use this sharpening stone

The manufacturer recommends soaking the stone in water for 5-10 minutes before each use. Sharpen the knife with gentle strokes against the direction of the blade. A few strokes from each side are sufficient for sharpening. If you are sharpening multiple knives and the stone starts to dry out, just dampen it with water. The use of oil or dry sharpening is not recommended.
