Sharpi 240 coarse sharpening stone
Sharpening stone with coarse grit 240. Manufactured in accordance with Japanese standard JIS R6001, it offers high durability and sharpening efficiency. Grit 240 is designed to restore and repair damaged edge and create new sharpness on blunt edge. Due to its coarse grit, it is particularly suitable for the first sharpening stage of dull knives. The stone can be used to sharpen kitchen knives, scissors, pocket knives, garden tools, axes, machetes, chisels and many other steel tools. The stone is made of AI203 aluminium oxide, which makes sharpening very efficient and ensures a low stone wear. Including rubber anti-slip base for stable and safe sharpening.

How to use this sharpening stone
The manufacturer recommends soaking the stone in water for 5-10 minutes before each use. Sharpen the knife with gentle strokes against the direction of the blade. A few strokes from each side are sufficient for sharpening. If you are sharpening multiple knives and the stone starts to dry out, just dampen it with water. The use of oil or dry sharpening is not recommended.
