Rozsutec is a natural sharpening stone, which comes from Mala Fatra mountains in Slovakia. It is a hard sedimentary sandstone, consisting of very fine and even grains of sand. It is ideal for the final honing and polishing of the blade. Thanks to the very fine structure of the sandstone, the stone grit reaches approximately 6000 - 8000 and can polish the blade to a mirror finish. With Rozsutec stone you can finish the sharpening of knives, razors or chisels to the perfection. The stones are very hard and have a very high resistance to wear. Thanks to its high hardness, it very rarely requires lapping or leveling. Rozsutec stone should be used with water. Rozsutec is a hand-made natural sharpening stone, so its color and structure may vary slightly from stone to stone.
