Product detailed description
Samura Super 5 are exclusive kitchen knives that provide traditional Japanese shapes, handle from durable composite micarta material and a blade from Japanese hand forged damascus steel (5 layers) with VG-10 steel core. The VG-10 core is very solid and reaches hardness up to 61 HRC. This makes knives sharp for a very long time. The advantage of hand-forged steel is its high durability and reliability, as well as its unusual appearance, as each piece is unique. The hammered steel blade finish looks very captivating and ensures smooth slicing, without the sliced food sticking to the knife.
The knife is packaged in a very fancy Japanese style canvas wrapper and stored in a gift box.
The knife has a handle from durable composite micarta material. This material is very solid, waterproof, and feels warm to the touch.
The blade is from a single piece of hand forged damascus steel (5 layers) with VG-10 steel core. The blades are extremely sharp and provide excellent cutting performance.
Use: The Santoku knife is ideal for quick and precise slicing, chopping and other kitchen tasks thanks to its shape.
