Scandinavian puukko hunting knife set Wood Jewel Kaksoispuukko avauspuukkolla Black 23AVKM
A set of two Finnish knives in one case. It consists of two traditional scandinavian knives - a universal puukko knife for outdoor use and hunting with a 9,5 cm long blade and a special gutting knife for hunters. The gutting knife has a 7,7 cm long blade with edge on the upper side and a rounded tip. This shape of the blade makes gutting animals easier, faster and cleaner. The blades are made of 80CrV2 carbon steel, which excels with high tougness.
The black plywood handles are ergonomically shaped and fit nicely into the hand. These knives come in a leather sheath, which provides separate compartment for each knife.
Wood Jewel Knives
Wood Jewel is a small manufacturer of traditional scandinavian knives from the Finnish part of Lapland, located in town Kolari, on the far north behind the polar circle. Every Wood Jewel knife is hand made and crafted in a traditional way. Traditionally nordic knives are made from local materials such as scandinavian steel, curly birch wood, reindeer antler and leather. Wood Jewel knives are primarily made of carbon steel, only a few models use stainless steel. Knives from Wood Jewel have classic scandinavian blade geometry, which is ideal for outdoor use.
