A medium-sized traditional lappish leuku knife. Wood Jewel Eräleuku is an ideal tool for heavy-duty work, such as chopping wood, building a shelter or game processing. With its durability and reliability, it proves to be an excellent choice for outdoor activities and bushcraft.
Blade made from carbon steel
Eräleuku 23EB features a 14,5 cm blade made of 80CrV2 carbon steel. This steel is known for its extreme toughness and quite good hardness at the same time. On top of that, this carbon steel it is really easy to sharpen.
Curly birch handle
The ergonomically shaped handle of the Wood Jewel Eräleuku provides a comfortable grip fits into the hand very well. On top of that is visually attractive thanks to a color combination of two different types of wood - curly birch and aspen. This blend of woods adds to its overall attractiveness and function.
Knife is accompanied by a high-quality natural leather sheath featuring a belt loop. Sheath ensures the safe storage and carry of the knife but also adds a touch of tradition with its Nordic animal pattern.
Wood Jewel Knives
Wood Jewel is a small manufacturer of traditional scandinavian knives from the Finnish part of Lapland, located in town Kolari, on the far north behind the polar circle. Every Wood Jewel knife is hand made and crafted in a traditional way. Traditionally nordic knives are made from local materials such as scandinavian steel, curly birch wood, reindeer antler and leather. Wood Jewel knives are primarily made of carbon steel, only a few models use stainless steel. Knives from Wood Jewel have classic scandinavian blade geometry, which is ideal for outdoor use.
