Fixed blade knives
Fixed blade knives is a wide category of knives, that can include all knives, that do not have a folding blade. Depending on the design, these can be, for example, full tang knives (made of one piece of steel that runs through the entire handle) or stick tang knives - this design is typical for Scandinavian knives. Fixed blade knives are generally more durable than folding knives and can handle more difficult tasks. This makes them great hunting knives, bushcraft knives or survival knives.
