Fillet knife knife Wood Jewel Fileerausveitsi is an ideal knife for filleting middle and large sized fish. The 22 cm blade is made of stainless steel and has the right amount of flexibility, which makes filleting easier. The softer behaviour of this steel allows it to bend the steel without breaking and sliding with ease to make a perfect fillet. Curly birch wood and reindeer antler handle. Leather sheath with a fish pattern.
Wood Jewel Knives
Wood Jewel is a small manufacturer of traditional scandinavian knives from the Finnish part of Lapland, located in town Kolari, on the far north behind the polar circle. Every Wood Jewel knife is hand made and crafted in a traditional way. Traditionally nordic knives are made from local materials such as scandinavian steel, curly birch wood, reindeer antler and leather. Wood Jewel knives are primarily made of carbon steel, only a few models use stainless steel. Knives from Wood Jewel have classic scandinavian blade geometry, which is ideal for outdoor use.
