Cleavers
Kitchen cleavers will allow you to perform the most demanding culinary tasks. The sturdy construction can handle any type of raw material. Cleavers are divided into 2 main categories according to their use: meat cleavers and vegetable cleavers. Meat cleavers tend to weigh a little more, have a thicker blade, and are designed to cut through hard bones. Another type is a vegetable cleaver, which is suitable for more delicate tasks and cutting large vegetables such as cabbage or lettuce. The wide blade is also very easy to use when transferring chopped pieces of food directly to a pot or pan. Cleavers are not designed for fine slicing or chopping very small pieces.
