Carving knife is a necessity when cutting raw or cooked meat - carving knives are great for cutting any ham, turkey or roast duck thanks to their long and slim blade. The 19,2 cm long blade gives you a great control every time you cut. The Böker Saga Grenadill carving knife takes your cutting to a whole new level.
Decades of experience in the outdoor knife world coupled with the ingenuity and creativity of Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnæs were incorporated into the concept and design of Saga to achieve a new level of performance in terms of ergonomics and cutting technology. The carefully orchestrated transfer of this joint know-how into the culinary field is proof that working with Boker Saga will be an entirely unique experience.
Handles made of exclusive certified Grenadill wood with perfect ergonomics. Due to its high hardness and density, grenadill wood is a great material for knife handle. African wood with a very smooth and slightly oily surface, which has a dark brown to black color.
Boker Saga owes its high strength to the full-tang design, which extends over the full length of the knife (same as many hunting knives) from the blade tip to the pommel. The optimized cutting performance is not only guaranteed by the full flat grind of the blade with stonewash finish, but also by selecting 440C blade steel, which far surpasses the edge-holding and corrosion-resistance of conventional kitchen knife steels. Stonewash finish is extremely scratch-resistant, since scratches are typically visually absorbed by its texture. Large hollow rivets are the unmistakable sign of Jesper Voxnæs design.

The German knife manufacturer Böker, based in Solingen, is not only a manufacturer of knives, but also a distributor of other brands. Böker brand knives are based on their own designs, but they also use the designs of well-known knife makers from around the world. The brand offers a wide portfolio of fixed and folding knives.
