Bread knives
Bread knives have a longer serrated blade that can cut bread with a harder crust, baguettes, but also buns and various cakes. In addition, the serrated blade does not deform the shape of the pastry, which improves the final impression on the plate. A bread knife can usually handle harder vegetables and fruits such as melons, pumpkins, or celery. Most bread knives have a blade length of approximately 200 - 300 mm. The longer the blade, the less you have to move it while cutting. Longer blades are also suitable for slicing larger breads and baguettes.
